Time to start a new week. Not much went on over the weekend. The biggest thing was Alabama taking the series against Mississippi State - in dramatic fashion. They split the double header on Saturday after Friday was rained out, and then Ross Wilson hit a 2-run game winner in the bottom of the 7th on Sunday to win the game 4-3 and take the series. I had not thought about this, but Alabama has gone 8 years without having a first round draft pick in football. To put it in perspective, the last first round draft pick we had was Shaun Alexander. I honestly thought that South Carolina might be the sleeper team in the SEC East this year...but I was wrong. In their spring game on Saturday, their qbs threw 8 interceptions. Yeah. 8. Wow.
