Check out some early recruiting stuff from The Tuscaloosa News - with even more about Julio Jones.
Alabama is trying to change Quinn Sanford's mind - the OL prospect from South Panola, in Batesville, MS, has already committed to Ole Miss, but other schools are working hard to get him to switch.
To make matters worse, Brandon Fanney, sophomore defensive end/linebacker, was also arrested along with Upchurch and Deaderick. Read more about it here.
Scarbinsky tells us that wanting to play Notre Dame isn't that big of a deal - cause they're not that good.
THE MIKE SHULA ERA
#16: Ole Miss 43 Alabama 28Oct. 18th, 2003 in Oxford, MS
This was the year of the Eli. And I have never been so embarrassed to be a Bama fan at a game in my life. After the first touchdown early in the 1st quarter to make it 10-0, I remembered thinking it was going to be a long day.
My dad and our friends we bought tickets with sat through another few minutes and watch Taye Biddle rake in catches for touchdowns to make it 24-0 at the end of the first quarter. We scored a field goal and a touchdown to make it 24-10, but when Eli threw a 41 yard touchdown before half-time, we decided to jet back to the car and start early on the tailgating again. It was 31-10 at the half, and that's when Cutcliffe called off the dogs. It ended up 43-28, thanks to two touchdowns in the last 5 minutes by Brodie, but it was much worse than the score indicated.

I like how that Quinn kid is proud of his 2.0 GPA. Just goes to show that South Panola doesn't care about their kids getting an education. # posted by The nigga : 11:15 AM
Well, neither does Hoover, supposedly. But hey...it's good that he's playing football, cause there's some kids there that don't even have that.
