I went to see Tool last night. All around incredible show. They're just so damn good at what they do.
Anyway, on with the stuff.
Recent Tide commitment, Brad Smelley, is a candidate for the US Army All-American Bowl this coming January. It's the game that features the top 80 high school players in the country. That could be cool.
The Alabama - Duke game scheduled for 2010 could be moved to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Pretty interesting, if you ask me.

I remember this game because I KNEW that Mississippi State was not a great team that year, even though they were ranked #7 and were undefeated at the time. This was still a team with Wayne Madkin at QB, so I knew they were beatable.
Our defense wasn't outstanding that year, but it held firm against State for most of the game. We went up 10-7 in the 2nd quarter after being down 7-3, and we never looked back. Of course, the game was still in doubt until Andrew Zow hit Shamari Buchanan on 37-yard touchdown midway through the 4th quarter.
This was a national spotlight game on ESPN, and I remember the atmosphere being pretty crazy, because the winner of this game was almost assured of a spot in the SEC Championship game.
