We have no clue who will be the next head coach...but we can post our opinion about who would be the best fit. Pick from one of the following coaches: Bob Stoops Nick Saban Paul Johnson Jim Grobe Jon Gruden Bo Pelini Jimbo Fisher Houston Nutt
I, personally, feel that either Stoops or Johnson would be the best fit. Both are defensive minded, but have very effective offenses also.

Just a guess. He hasn't worked with Patterson since 2000.
Stoops and Oklahoma beat Texas A&M 77-0 in '03. When Pollard came in during the '04 and '05 seasons, he completely revitalized that team. I wish I had a link, but in Stoops' press conference following their game against A&M this year, he said they were the strongest and most well conditioned teams they had played in a few years. # posted by Memphis Tider : 3:03 PM
