So explain to me this. Does he get mad because the team isn't that good and he didn't get to play that much against Duke?
Backup quarterback Marc Guillon quit the Alabama football team this week. He cited "lack of playing time" as his excuse to get outta town. Exactly how much time did he think he would get? His stats at Alabama are as follows:
22 out of 46 for 206 yards, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions.
He single handedly lost the Arkansas and South Carolina games for us in 2004, and only threw one pass last year as Brodie's backup.
And he wants to quit midway through the '06 campaign? This bastard's lucky he was still considered the 2nd string QB, much less on the team after sitting out half of '04 with back spasms, etc. He never lived up to the hype surrounding him, lost us two ballgames, and now wants to bitch about playing time.
Talk about getting under my skin. So, welcome Jimmy Barnes to the 2nd string. He's gonna be a gunslinger.
Bye bye Marc. Hope you can prove to be of more worth somewhere else.
