So I come into work this morning, and our server is completely down. Talk about a great way to start off the morning. Phone call after phone call of "my internet's not working" or "I can't print to the network printer" or whatever. Talk about insane.
Either way, I'm back up and at 'em. As you noticed at the top, I've got a countdown going until the LSU game. I would have to believe that Gameday will NOT be in attendance, simply because they chose Ohio State vs Penn State in Happy Valley this week rather than USC at Oregon - I'm guessing so they can go to Arizona State at Oregon next week. Wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Coach said that the textbook system failed the players. "If we call a bad play and it doesn't work, we're responsible." Sounds about right.
Finebaum says that there are two words that will make him think long and hard about leaving for Texas A&M - Nick Saban. He doesn't do many of these "public speaking" things, so when he does one, fans gather in droves to hear him talk. Coach Saban spoke in Birmingham and told about, among other things, his biggest surprise being the high expectations for a team that went 6-7 last year that hasn't had many top 20 recruiting classes.
Ron Higgins points out that this conference is the craziest bunch of crap you'll ever see. Vandy beating a top 10 team. Kentucky, a top 10 team as well, losing to Florida and it being considered an upset. There's just sooo much parity. Read more here.
