Dennis Dodd over at sportsline.com has written a really good article about why we need to keep Mike Shula around. He's got some good points, but I wish he would explain to me WHY THE HELL CHRIS CAPPS IS STILL PLAYING. aaaaarrrrrggghhhh.
But seriously, it's good to hear this side of the story in the media. Very strange how everyone is talking about firing Shula when we're 5-3 and lost to three teams that we're supposed to lose to right now. I don't care how close they were or anything, we are in the middle of a rebuilding year. Now then, next year, if we're sitting at 5-3 at this time, then we might want to start talking, because we're going to have a hell of a football team next year.
Tomorrow, after I finish watching the game, I'm gonna wander down to the New Daisy here in Memphis and watch the best Southern Rock band you've never heard of.
